I’ve seen a few people dismiss and ignore the —face that some loveable classic actors (like Judy Garland) did because of the harsh studio contracts/managing done back then, and I think that’s still no excuse because —face is still —face. And white fans shouldn’t be annoyed when people of color express their anger/hurt feelings about it.
